Firstly I would like to say I design and make all my own furniture, there are people copying my items and they use old wet pallets. It is common to find wood worm in old pallet wood, wood worm will get into your other furniture in your house and eat away at other wooden items. Old pallets, in my opinion, are cheap imitations and they will shrink, split and open up after being in your house for a short period of time with the heating on. As you can see in the pictures there is a chunky 2 inch thick shelf on each one to put anything on.

I have put candles and ornaments on them, but you can use them to home pictures, photographs, ornaments, vases, flowers, put your own personal touch on it. The rest of the timber is 1 inch thick, so it is a heavy solid piece. They are made from reclaimed timber and stained rustic light, medium, dark oak or white with real mirror hearts on the white ones, then finished off with 3 coats of the finest Danish oil for protection. Depth is 6 inches and the shelf has a depth of 4.5 inches. Both shelves are the same size and colour.

The wall strap on the back are made from solid brass and are very secure and unseen, once mounted. This listing is for two items. But if your only wanting one, please message me.

They are easy to fit to the wall and only requires 1 screw suitable for the wall you are going to fix it to (fixings supplied). Candles and ornaments are not included!
