Apple Watch Store Retail Display Demo Charging Dock, Leather Mat Pad Lid & Cable

  
This retail Apple Watch display and charging stand is an OEM fixture developed and designed by Apple directly for portability in Apple stores. To meet the demand for try-on demos in early 2015, Apple developed a mobile power station to keep several demo watches charged at once. This way, any open section of the Apple Store could become a try on station for the Apple Watch. The charging dock/display/case is in great condition with minimal scratches and dings in the outer plastic shell. This one lives its entire life covered in plastic, however I removed the protective plastic for this listing as, over the years, it had collected dust and odor and made the charger look rather unkept. You can see some adhesive residue has been left over on the charging bays, but this can be wiped away with a cloth and a little water.

Otherwise, the dock is in perfect condition. The lid keeps dust out, but also doubles as a leather mat/pad for displaying and putting down demo watches to keep them from being scratched. This lid is included, and is in great condition, except for a small punch in the leather, which is next to a small and faint ink stain. The felt on the bottom is in fantastic condition, and the corners are all perfect.

This leather pad is effectively a smaller version of the bigger ones in Apple Stores used on the display tables. Of course, both are designed and produced internally by Apple.

Also included is a MagSafe 2 Charging cable to power the display. Photo #22 shows all charging heads are functional. This display will charge 10 Apple Watches at once, and all generations are compatible, however I've been told that the Ultra and Ultra 2 do not fit in the charging display with the leather lid on, so you will need to keep the lid off to charge an Ultra. These were used in retail stores around the same time as the display case to wipe off and clean the demo watches between appointments. They are identical to the Apple Watch Edition charging cloths that came in the 18k Gold Edition boxes, except these don't say "Edition" on them. Don't miss your chance to get one!
