Vintage Interlubke Free Standing Display Storage System Wall Unit c 1970s

  
Late mid-century modern, modular shelves / shelf unit / shelving unit. By Interlubke of West Germany. The handsome, clean lined style would work well with other European vintage modern home furnishings as well as designs, by Knoll, Herman Miller, Thayer Coggin, etc. Free standing, does not mount on wall.

5 bays, 4 narrower and 1 wider. The white laminate surface makes a great neutral backdrop for display. Lots of closed and open storage. Central locking cabinet was used by the original owner as a cocktail bar. The little black shelves are removable to be used as trays.

Width is 125.5 (10 5.25). Height is 88.5 (7 4.5). Light overall wear with some subtle variations in color, scratches, nicks, and chips. Some holes have been cut in back panels to accommodate cords.

Drop down door is fussy / sticky from lack of use. Please note that this piece requires dismantling for moving.

I cannot offer help installing it in its new home. Located in Chicago and available for viewing. Destinations within a 5 mile radius would be free. We would be happy to try to answer them. Please keep this in mind especially with clothing items. Always use measurements for sizing purposes because vintage sizing and contemporary sizing can vary substantially.
